The fourth R

All are familiar with the three R's. Reading, wRiting, and aRithmitic. In today's world computeR literacy is now just as important. Often students, as well as parents, call us to be instructed as to how to register online, how to logon, what is a user name, etc. We are proud that pennacool.com is serving to make many children and their parents computeR literate. We pledge to continue working within the Ministry's guidelines to improve academic performance and computeR literacy in schools throughout Trinidad & Tobago.

The pennacool.com Vision

To develop online computer based education programs for primary and secondary school students in Trinidad & Tobago. Programs which respond to the academic needs of students while teaching them the intelligent use of computers as a life skill. Computer based programs that assist teachers in their work as educators.

For Parents & Guardians

Parents & Guardians

Dear Parents & Guardians

It is the experience of our own children doing the SEA exam that led to the creation of pennacool.com. Understanding the anxiety and concern for academic success we are attempting to create a computer based program that will improve the academic ability of your children and at the same time teach them the intelligent use of the computer as a life skill. We encourage you to send us ideas for improving what we are doing.

How we pay our bills

As you are aware the online program pennacool.com is available free of charge, and yet we too have bills to pay. At present our sources of income are:

Corporate Sponsors Sponsorship allows us to provide the online program free of charge for the benefit of all students in Trinidad & Tobago. Why pennacool.com

It surprises us how often we are asked "why the name?". Who can't remember the joys of a pennacool? The comfort to a little child... cold and sweet on a hot school day. While we are attempting to make academic study enjoyable, the DOT COM addition to pennacool indicates our attempt to take the children of our Nation into the amazing world of the internet.
